Went with Sub70 after a recommendation from my son and it’s worked out really well. As I’ve gotten a little older, I was looking for something that would help with launch and consistency. The 699 Pros with the MMT shafts have definitely helped get the ball up a bit more, and I’ve noticed the same thing with the wedges.
Up top, I’ve kept it simple with the Ping G400 driver and a set of Cobra Baffler hybrids. The hybrids give me a lot of options and are just easier for me to hit consistently than long irons.
All lefty clubs, which can make things a little more limited, but this setup has come together nicely. The rest of the bag is pretty straightforward. Nothing too complicated, just clubs that are easy to hit and do what I expect.
Putter is a Newport 2 that I’ve had for a while and still trust.
Overall, it’s a mixed setup that’s been working well and makes the game a little easier.
